In N Out but 1/2 the calories
If you live or have visited the west coast chances are you know exactly what Animal style means. Most of us Californians when we come back from a trip, the first place we go to is the drive thru of In N Out. Unfortunately, you east coasters don’t get to experience this beachy goodness (I’ve been there -tragedy) so I’m not only allowing you the opportunity to bring this in your home, but to keep it lower calories, delicious tasting & stay on track with your fitness goals 👌🏼

What you’ll need (Serves 1)
-2 Cups Lettuce
-2 Slices Velveeta Cheese
-10oz Lean Beef (I used Laura’s 94/6)
-1/4 Cup Chopped White Onions
-1 Tbsp Sweet Relish
-2 Tbsp Kraft Fat Free Thousand Islands Dressing
-300g White Potatoes
-1 Cup Unsweetened Coconut Milk
-1/2 Tsp Vanilla Extract
-1 Scoop Chocolate Protein Powder (I used Pescience Select Chocolate Cupcake Protein Powder)
-2 Cups Ice
-Fat Free Whip Cream (optional)
Double Double Animal Protein Style Burger Bowl:
Roll your meat into 2 patties -you can either grill or cook on the pan until your desired temperature (when cooking with lean beefs, it’s best to cook all the way through).
Chop your onions and place in a separate pan. Let simmer until golden brown
Add cheese slices to the burger patties to melt on top for about 1 minute
Making the secret sauce! It’s as easy as Mixing the Thousand Islands and Relish -Tada!
In a bowl combine lettuce, cheeseburgers, onions and sauce
Animal Style Fries:
Preheat oven to 425 degrees
Cut your potatoes into shoestring fries (Using a French fry cutter will make this much easier).
Spray Cookie Sheet with Pam, add the cut potatoes & do a dash more of Pam on top. Can sprinkle a bit of salt if you’d like. Cook for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown
Add 1 slice of Velveeta Cheese to the hot fries and top with the grilled onions and secret sauce 👌🏼
Chocolate Protein Milkshake:
In a blender combine ice, protein powder, coconut milk, and vanilla extract. Blend on High to get the extra ice chunks down and finish it at soft serve for the right consistency
Add whip cream & enjoy!
